J.F. Ingram State Technical College proudly celebrates the success of Mr. Winston, a graduate of the Perry County PREP Center in Uniontown, who is already making significant strides in his career following his December 2025 graduation.
Immediately after completing the PREP Center program, Mr. Winston was hired by Y-tec Keylex Toyotetsu Alabama, Inc.(YKTA) and began employment without delay. Since his first day on the job, he has maintained perfect attendance and demonstrated a strong work ethic, commitment to growth, and personal accountability.
In just a short time, Mr. Winston has reached an important personal milestone — purchasing a brand-new vehicle — a testament to his stability and dedication to building a better future. His supervisors at YKTA have praised his performance, noting his positive attitude and potential for continued advancement within the company.
The Perry County PREP Center, operated in partnership with the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles, provides workforce readiness training, life-skills development, and employment placement support for individuals on supervised release. The program equips participants with the skills, structure, and accountability necessary to transition successfully into the workforce and sustain long-term employment.
